The Minerva Unveiled Crownless is a stainless steel and rose gold 750/1000 (18 karats) time-only watch that possesses an especially strong symmetry due to its lack of a traditional crown. The crownless design relies on assigning manual winding and time setting to the fluted bezel, a modern-day innovation inspired by a 1927 Minerva pilot's watch with a rotating timing bezel. The vintage-shaped 41.5 mm stainless steel case is adorned with a rose gold 750/1000 (18 karats) fluted bezel and an inscription 'Depuis 1858' on the mid-case. On the 3-o'clock side of the caseback's stainless steel frame is a lever for switching the bezel's function between winding the movement (lever in) and time-setting (lever extended). Because this lever is discreetly concealed in the caseback frame, the pure balance of the crownless case is maintained. The signature gold-colored guilloché dial features an inset small-seconds at 6 o'clock, visually counterbalancing the vintage Minerva logo and the rose gold-coated Arabic numeral '12'. The timepiece is powered by a Manufacture hand-finished manually wound calibre MB 15.08, which features an 80-hour power reserve, and is completed with a dark green alligator strap and a stainless steel triple-folding clasp with a fine adjustment system.
